Open Your Eyes (poem?)

Open your eyes

See what you have been given this day

a new start, a new beginning, a correction of the errs

the rain washes away the buildup of filth and untruth

arise renewed in faith, in goals, in the life you are called to live

free your mind from distractions

secondary desires, whoas and confusion aside

listen, seek and inquire

dig to find what is only a scratch below the surface

inevitability will find you

and understanding will be your net when you fail

believe not only in your creator

but in yourself

you are but one, separated and visible as two

as a mirror and smoky veil

be you

because in all that is truth

you are

Go

To lack opinion is to lack thought

to not have direction, is to sit still

to be devoid of achievements is to try nothing

confused, lost, direction-less

start walking... soon you will know if the direction feels right

even if you walk in circles you are warming your muscles for the road ahead

still and contemplating... why not walking and contemplating?

sit when you must rest

do not sit debating about how to walk
